Roundtable: Alzheimer’s Disease and Imaging
Standardization, innovation, and multidisciplinary teamwork could be the key
On 19 Dec 2024, the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry (JNNP), in partnership with the Department of Radiology at West China Hospital, convened a roundtable in Chengdu China. This roundtable aimed to serve as a collaborative platform to advance discussions on Alzheimer’s disease and the critical role of imaging in its diagnosis and treatment.
The hybrid event brought together leading experts in neurology, radiology, magnetic resonance physics and public health to explore current challenges and opportunities in Alzheimer’s imaging, including the preferred imaging modalities and metrics, the need for a standardised workflow, emerging technologies and multidisciplinary collaborations. Please find the roundtable meeting report here.
